Privacy Policy

Dip & Crumble (“we”, “us”) is a home bakery based in Gurgaon. This policy explains what information we collect when you place an order and how we use it. We only collect what we need to bake and deliver your order.

What we collect

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • Your delivery address (and a recipient’s name, phone and address if you send a gift).
  • Your order details and chosen delivery date and slot.
  • How you heard about us, and whether you opted in to updates.

We do not collect or store any card or bank details. Payment is made directly by you over UPI; we only see the payment screenshot you upload on your order page to confirm payment.

How we use it

  • To prepare, confirm and deliver your order.
  • To send you an order confirmation by email and coordinate over email or live chat.
  • To send occasional updates about new bakes — only if you opted in. You can ask us to stop any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with the services that run the shop, each processing your data only to provide their service:

  • Supabase — our database, order system and secure functions.
  • Resend — sends your order and review emails.
  • Lovable — builds and hosts this website.
  • Cloudflare — serves the site (content delivery) and runs the Turnstile bot-protection check at checkout.
  • Chatwoot — powers our website live chat, if you message us there.
  • Your delivery courier — receives the name, phone and address needed to deliver your order.
  • Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity — aggregate site analytics (see “Cookies & analytics” above).

Cookies & analytics

We use minimal browser storage to remember your cart. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand site traffic and how our pages are used — Clarity may record anonymised interactions (clicks, scrolls, mouse movement) to build aggregate heatmaps and session insights. If a Meta advertising pixel is enabled, it measures ad interest. These tools see usage in aggregate; we never record card or payment details.

Reviews

A few days after delivery we may email you to rate what you ordered. Reviews come from verified orders only. If you leave one, it's published on the product page under your first name and last initial (e.g. “Raghav S”) with a “Verified” badge. Ratings of 4–5★ publish automatically; 1–3★ come to us privately first so we can make it right. You can edit your review for 30 days.

Your order link

Your confirmation page lives at a private, unguessable link (/o/<code>). Anyone with that link can view that order, so please don’t share it publicly.

Data retention & your rights

We keep order records for as long as needed to run the business and meet any legal obligations. To access, correct or delete your information, reach us via our contact form, live chat or hello@dipandcrumble.com and we’ll help.
